Running for I Care

Two Oceans runners, Pete Grassow and Mark Duncan have challenged themselves to run 300 days this year for a minimum of 5 km or half an hour each day.
Their aim is to raise R100,000 in 2012 for I Care to help us to take more children off the streets by establishing a centre in Pietermaritzburg.
So how can you help? If you donate R1 for every run it works out at R300 for the year. If Pete and Mark raise enough awareness and get 300 people to support them, the R100,000 target will be reached pretty easily! You can donate safely on line through their BackaBuddy site: http://backabuddy.co.za/champion/project/irun4icare. They had already run for 100 days by May 1st. You will be able to check their daily progress on http://irun4icare.weekly.com/.
