Rainbow Warrior

All the boys at the I Care Hope Centre were invited to visit the Green Peace vessel Rainbow Warrior in Durban Harbour earlier this week. This vessel is a campaigning ship that has been specifically designed so that scientists can work on board. She is as enviromentally-friendly as possible for a ship of this type and as fast as many industrial vessels with action boats that can be deployed in minutes. She also has a heli-pad.

The youngsters had a wonderful time on board, they were all very excited and interested in everything.

I Care's Bhekani wants, through our blog, to thank Brie for arranging the visit and to everyone on board Rainbow Warrior for making it all so interesting.

He is shown in the picture with one of the boys.
