I Care helps

I Care have stepped in to assist the children living in the Survivors Childrens Home in Durban North by offering to transport them to and from school. We are doing this in order to maintain some normality in the children's lives following some considerable upheaval as viewed on the Carte Blanche programme on SABC 3 on Sunday, 20th February.

A new car for Durban

Thanks to the continued generosity of the Albert
and Molly Baumann Trust I Care has been able to purchase a new car - a Toyota Avanza - for our Durban branch.
The Photograph shows Gerty Henderson , our senior fundraiser, receiving the keys for the Avanza from David Lurien of McCarthy Toyota, Durban Kingsmead. Also in the picture is Anne Slatter, our Accounts Manager.

Thank You

A very generous lady - Sue Stevens - decided that, rather than give her gifts for her birthday, her friends should donate the money to I Care, her favourite charity.
Sue has special friends. Together they donated more than R3,000.00 to spend on the boys in our care.

We are very grateful to Sue and her friends for this wonderful gesture.
